Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant surprise! The rooms were beautifully decorated and much more spacious than expected, although the lack of natural light due to the basement location was a downside. The service was incredibly friendly and supportive, and the location was ideal for exploring many historic attractions within easy walking distance.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were perfectly clean and the included breakfast was well-suited to the location. Although the room was bigger than usual and maintained to a high standard, it lacked a double bed.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though clean and comfortable with great AC, were let down by a dirty shower room and floor, despite daily cleaning. The service was generally professional and friendly, meeting boutique hotel standards, though instructions for non-luxury taxis could be clearer. The location, while ideal for sightseeing and close to iconic places, was marred by a lovely cobblestone road that made transport a bit tricky. Dining was a highlight with a splendid choice and variety, perfect for recommending to loved ones.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel; it had its charms but also some drawbacks. The rooms were nice and clean, though not exactly as expected from the photos. The attic room we booked had low curved ceilings and a small porthole window, but it was bright, clean, and featured a lovely bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. The service was very welcoming and friendly overall, with professional and cooperative staff. The location was excellent, offering easy access to the main attractions in Sultan Ahmet, though there were concerns about safety due to the nearby terrorist threat. The dining options were a bit lacking in diversity and taste compared to other nearby hotels. However, the facilities were adequate and offered a decent stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while overlooking the Sea of Marmara and the mosque, were spread out on several floors, which could sometimes be quite confusing. The overall quality was good, but did not meet our expectations based on the 8.6 rating we usually find reliable.
The hotel offers large and comfortable rooms, but they aren't soundproofed, so noise from neighbors can be bothersome. The cleanliness and comfort are top-notch, but being on the road side may affect your sleep quality. The service is not only professional but exceptionally friendly and attentive. The location is ideal for exploring the historical attractions of Istanbul, being within a short walking distance to popular landmarks. The dining experience is satisfying with a good breakfast selection, although it could benefit from more variety. Overall, a clean and very comfortable stay in a central location with some noise disturbances.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel with a room that overlooked the Sea but was slightly outmoded yet clean. Waking up early at 6 am was worth it to enjoy the terrace facing the garden in the green shadow of trees. The service was excellent overall, with a few instances of rudeness, but the helpful and friendly staff, especially Burgehan, made my stay pleasant. The location was perfect for exploring the Sultanahmet area, just a short walk from major attractions, restaurants, and stores. The dining experience offered delicious options to start the day right.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were split between two zones, with the first one facing some challenges like darkness and water leaking issues, but eventually got moved to a better room. The location was great for exploring the main tourist spots, though there was some noise from passing cars at night. The dining experience was good overall, with a variety of options but missing some traditional Turkish touches in the breakfast spread.
